Nicknames

Shows nicknames in place of your name and other players' names

With Nicknames on, your username and any player you've nicknamed show up as their nicknames everywhere text is drawn: chat, the tab list, name tags, the scoreboard and the HUD. That way screenshots and recordings don't leak anyone's real name. Only what's on your screen changes; everything you send to the server, and everything other players see, stays the same. Skins still show, so a nickname doesn't hide a recognisable skin.

Nicknames are set with the ,nick command and saved to config/medved/nicknames.json, so they stay after you relaunch. Setting one while this module is off saves it, and it shows once you turn the module on. Your own nickname follows whichever account you're logged into. See Commands.
