Negev

Replaces your hand with greenscreen footage of a Negev that sprays when you hit something.

Holding Attack fires, whether you are aiming at a mob, a block you are mining or nothing at all. Every hit on a mob or player also fires a short burst, so hits keep it spraying even after you let go. When you stand still the gun holds still, and when you walk it sways and bobs with your steps.

After 150 rounds' worth of firing the box is empty, and the reload plays as soon as you are out of the fight: nothing under your crosshair and no hit landed for a burst. Until then it keeps spraying, so a fight is never cut up by a reload. Hitting something during a reload cuts it short.

The footage only shows in first person, and attacking still hits whatever you are looking at. Your bare fist always becomes the Negev. Any other item only does when it's on the Items list, so holding blocks or food shows your normal hand. Switching away mid-reload cancels the reload.

The footage is not part of the client download. The first time you turn Negev on it downloads about 23 MB, and a notification tells you when it's done. After that it loads from your config/medved/negev folder.

Scale

How large the footage is drawn, as a share of your screen width. It stays anchored to the bottom right corner.

Volume

How loud the firing and reload sounds are. They play on the Players volume slider.

Items

The items that show the Negev, chosen with the item picker. Defaults to swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, bows, crossbows, tridents and maces. Your fist always shows it, whatever is on the list.

Switch the picker to blacklist to show the Negev for everything except the items you list.

Burst

How many seconds each hit keeps the gun firing. Hits that land closer together than this make one continuous spray.
